Park Avenue Catering is Northern California’s leading caterer and event partner.

Founded by Northern Californian Chef Bruce Riezenman, Park Avenue Catering was born with a vision to merge the state’s farm-fresh flavors and focus on sustainability, with his signature attentive service.

The result is a catering experience unlike any other, offering a full-service package that is authentic to wine country and Northern California at large.

Our Ethos

Park Avenue Catering never stands still; we continue to evolve our business practices and grow our portfolio to fit the ever-changing needs of our clients. Once our creative and adaptive team sees a need in the market, we quickly create a plan of how to fill it. This is how our family grows. And wait, there will be more…

Green Certified since 2008.

History of Sustainability

Our founder, Chef Riezenman, was a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement in both New York and California. From the very beginning, our dishes have featured locally-sourced ingredients, including foraged mushrooms, smoked chicken, lamb, and cheeses, all delivered directly by the farmers and artisans who produced them. Our commitment to supporting local farmers and producers is a cornerstone of our business, making us a leading eco-friendly catering service in the Bay Area.

More Than Just Buying Local

Being a California green business involves more than just sourcing locally; it means executing commitment to sustainable practices in all aspects of our business. Food composting is paramount to this pillar. At Park Ave Catering, we compost all of our food waste. Our recycling and composting efforts extend to our food preparation at our home kitchen and all waste from each event. If facilities for composting are not on site, we bring it back home with us.

Always Improving

We’re committed to continually maintaining and improving our Green Certified standards. We have an ongoing employee training and awareness program, and a comprehensive “Environmental Report Card” for our business that tracks 58 (and growing!) sustainability practices. Being a green certified caterer is more than just “Farm to Fork” or “Farm to Table”. It requires constantly asking questions and understanding the impacts of everything we do.

Park Avenue Catering is committed to the community.

A Holistic Approach

Community volunteerism and philanthropic endeavors are core pillars of the Park Avenue Catering experience. We take a holistic approach to our day-to-day operations, committing to optimizing what we do and making the best choices for our neighbors, and planet, within every aspect of the operation.

Concrete Contributions

Park Avenue Catering continually gives back to our Northern California family through direct financial contributions, in-kind donations, discounted pricing, donating auction dinners, and other sponsorships. Through our efforts and the support of our clients, we contribute well in excess of $150,000 each year to local non-profit businesses.

Our goal is always to make sure not only our work family is taken care of, but the community we live in as well.

PARK AVENUE CATERING IS PROUD TO BE BEHIND A COLLECTION OF OTHER FOOD AND BEVERAGE VENTURES FOR WINE COUNTRY AND BEYOND, INCLUDING STELLAR CATERING AND PARK 101 MOBILE KITCHEN

Stellar Catering

Stellar Catering was born in April 2014 and is a collaboration between wine country powerhouses Chef Bruce Riezenman of Park Avenue Catering and Chef Ari Weiswasser of Glen Ellen Star.

After numerous requests from restaurant regulars for catering services, Glen Ellen Star wanted to create a business that could deliver their signature flavors to their guests onsite. As experts in the catering world, Park Avenue saw this as a spectacular opportunity for partnership. The result of the collaboration is Stellar Catering, a program that marries Glen Ellen Star’s rustic, open fire cooking with Park Avenue’s focus on local and seasonal ingredients.

Park 101 Mobile Kitchen

Park Avenue 101 Mobile Kitchen was created in the pursuit of crafting an approachable and sustainable catering option that would provide “Park Avenue Quality,” at any price point.
